SwimLabs Swim School Swimming Lessons offers swimming lessons that include learn-to-swim instruction and competitive swim training. The program uses warm water pools that feature instant video feedback, in-pool mirrors, and advanced analysis software during lessons.
• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Session goal of 10 Lifesaving Skills in 1 Year or Less
The program states a mission of “SWIMMING Lessons That Last a Lifetime” and follows the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise, which is a commitment to teaching real self-rescue and lifelong water safety. Lessons follow a safety-centric approach where every lesson builds water safety skills alongside proper technique, with weekly lessons that build safety, confidence, and progress and an option of up to 2 months of free lessons if more time is needed. The program offers technology-driven training with instant video feedback, in-pool mirrors, and advanced analysis software, along with tailored lessons for beginners through competitive athletes, small adult classes, changing rooms and showers, and space for loved ones to observe behind glass without interfering with class time.
The leadership team includes Darin Mai, Owner and Elite Swim Instructor; Kristin Mai, Owner; Taryn, Aquatics Manager, Swim Instructor & Competitive Coach; Karen, Client Services Specialist & Event Coordinator; and Niki, Client Services Specialist. Staff credentials include experience coaching at the collegiate and USS level, over 20 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience in school and clinical settings, a USA certified swim coach who also coaches the Sierra Sharks recreational swim team and serves as Assistant Coach for AquaSol, an alumnus of the Arizona State University Swim Team, and a coach who has been coaching since 2004 with experience in summer leagues, USA teams, and high school teams.
SwimLabs Swim School Swimming Lessons is part of SafeSplash, which is part of Youth Enrichment Brands (YEB), a youth activities platform founded in 2020 that supports over 1 million children each year through programs across camps, leagues, classes, and schools. The program has partnered with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA), an organization focused on drowning prevention through education, advocacy, and innovation.
